I swore at claude until he made a nodegroup that cuts degredation in half.

Essentially using static image frames inside the latent space and instead of resampling them, bypassing the resampling process and repasting them using masking from fresh latents from earlier parts of the clip or previous clips into later areas repairing the frames.

Key points

  • I have been messing with an idea about degredation.
  • Essentially doing a diagnostic decode of the latent to measure pixel variation and tag it as motion vs stable pixels.
  • I combined this idea with u/xyzdist 's FL2V resampling method and the appearance is that it cuts the degredation in half while keeping the background more or less stable.
  • This is great for context motion if you're using preloaded audio because you can set to increment and load the audio in order if you segmented it with my audio splitter.
